    Hello.
    I have just started with WordPress and already have a question.

    Currently I have everything running on a Debian 12 VM.
    phpMyAdmin is also installed.

    My idea and at the same time my question is:
    Is it possible to create/design web pages with WordPress and then export and import them on a web server where no WordPress is installed ????

    Yes.

    There are plugins that generate static sites from WordPress.

    That already sounds good.
    Is it described somewhere what exactly is exported and what is not?
    I don’t want to go to the trouble of creating a website that I then export from WordPress and import to another web server and be surprised that the website doesn’t look the way I created it.

    You will have to investigate / test the plugins you want to try as I have no experience of them.

    I quick search I could only find one free one https://wordpress.org/plugins/simply-static/
    but there may be others
