  • Hello, Good Day to you.
I am a singer with all my material and personal contact details on 2 websites
http://www.veddah.com & http://www.buzzkop.com, where recently my websites went down, and have been unable to log in.

I’ve contacted my very reliable computer guy, but he hasn’t got back to me, and with his whatsapp, and social media not active since last November, i fear the worst has happened to him with he suddenly gone missing.

The hosting site have told me he has taken out a 3 year plan 2 years ago, so can understand why my hosting is still ok, but feel maybe wordpress.ord is annual subscription, and with him gone missing is the reason he has been unable to renew his wordpress.org account and why i can’t access my wordpress.org account.

With i singing on these websites, and all my contact details on view on the site also, and my company Veddah Ltd owning the website, it is beyond all doubt i own the websites.

With i unable to contact anyone at wordpress.org to get simple access, and then trying wordpress.com, they have told me go on this forum to ask someone to help me this way, so with this all new to me, i hope someone can kindly advise me how can i simply log into my websites.

    Kind Regards
    Michael Lally

  • Can’t Log In To My Own Website

Both sites are completely inaccessible (as I write this). So this is not just a matter of logging in: if the public front-end doesn’t work, chances are the back-end isn’t going to work either.

but feel maybe wordpress.ord is annual subscription, and with him gone missing is the reason he has been unable to renew his wordpress.org account and why i can’t access my wordpress.org account.

WordPres.org merely provides the WordPress software, which is 100% free. There’s no payment at all required to use the software: all that’s needed is the hosting service.

Also, your login on your own WordPress-powered website is not in any way connected to any WordPress.org login: the two are totally separate, and you don’t even need a WordPress.org login to manage your own WordPress-powered website.

The hosting site have told me he has taken out a 3 year plan 2 years ago, so can understand why my hosting is still ok,

Your hosting plan/account may be OK, but that doesn’t mean the hosting service or server is OK. When I view ANY address on either of your domains, I get the error message:

503 Service Unavailable: the server is temporarily busy, try again later!

There’s definitely something wrong at the hosting end. HTML pages load fine, Perhaps some PHP setting or feature in the hosting account may have to be tweaked. I don’t know, because I’m not familiar with your host, A2Hosting.

    1) Do you even have access to the hosting account? If not, this is the first hurdle you need to cross before you can do ANYTHING to fix the issue — as I don’t think your host is going to make any changes to an account/site at your behest — when it doesn’t “belong” to you.

    2) If you have access to the hosting account, then kindly get back to your host, but mentioned the specific error message you see on the sites. Provide a link to this forum post if necessary. Hopefully, they’ll be willing to take a closer look to resolve this “busy server” issue for you.

    3) If you have access to the hosting account but your host is unwilling/unable to resolve the issue for you, then I’ll recommend you hire a professional to access your hosting account to find out what’s really happening under the hood and resolve it for you: https://jobs.wordpress.net

    Good luck!
