creating a menu item with multible sub-menu pdf’s

    I created a menu item called T-shirt programs. In this menu item I created 3 sub menus that link to separate PDF’s in my media files and saved. When I hold mouse over the T-shirt programs in the menu, it doesn’t show the PDF’s in the sub menus? Any clue what I’m doing wrong?
