file download not working

    Page with file downloads that worked last week are not working now. The files are in the media library and the URL is good but clicking on the download button does nothing. I have tried deleting and reinserting the file block but that didn’t help. I then tried putting in a link to the file but that didn’t work either? What can I do?

    Kindly check the link to your site attached to this post to enable me to investigate the issue on my end.

    Try deactivating plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) to check for plugin or theme conflicts causing the issue.

    Another thing you could try is clearing your website’s cache and cookies. Try accessing the website from a different browser or the download link in an incognito/private browsing window to rule out browser-related issues and see if the problem persists.

    Are you using a plugin to facilitate the downloads?

    If so, what is the name of the plugin?
