2.0.0 is buggy and the authors ignore users

Until 1.4.0, I was quite happy with the plugin, although the counter diverged from the Jetpack, up to 10 per cent.

The update to 2.0.0 broke the mechanism and counter no longer showed up.

I reported the issue to the support forum. Another user reported the same problem. I provided the authors with screenshots, then actually found the place in the source code where the problem originated. I contacted the company (a3rev) using their web interface. Silence.

I was finally able to fix my problem by downgrading the plugin from 2.0.0 back to 1.4.0, but I am unhappy. I know that the software is provided for free and with no warranty, but I still feel that immediately after release of a major update, the developers should listen to feedback from the customers.
